A few exciting updates for Sunday Stories Club! ☕ FREE Sunday writing sprints are here to stay!
Moving forward, our regular Sunday writing meetups will be completely free. We’ll be trying out different coffee shops during their usual slowest hours, giving us a chance to write together while also supporting the places that host us.
For the next two writing meetups, we’ll keep the same schedule:
2:45–3:00 PM — Arrive, order, and say hi
3:00–3:45 PM — Silent writing sprint #1 💻
3:45–4:00 PM — Stretch, grab a drink, reset
4:00–4:45 PM — Silent writing sprint #2 💻
4:45–5:00 PM — Chat, catch up, and say goodbye!
Keeping these meetups free means we can put more of our community funds toward patronizing the coffee shops we visit and saving money for other exciting events, workshops, and things we can do together!

And remember: you can absolutely continue meeting up with each other outside of the official Sunday Stories meetups! Post invites in the chat at any time! One of my favorite things about this community is that it doesn’t have to depend on one person or one official event to keep going. 🤍
November = NaNoWriMo season!
For those of you specifically writing novels, I’m planning a special November series!
These will be low-cost workshops centered around attempting to finish our current novel drafts in November. 😂 We’ll write together and workshop each other’s work while also walking through craft lessons, structure, and other tools to help us keep making progress on our stories. This will be limited to 9 people. More details on those workshops soon!

I’m starting a class that doesn’t end until 4 PM, so our Sunday Stories schedule will shift beginning October 11 through November 29.
Our meetup time will be 4:30–6:30 PM during these dates! Schedule to come soon!
